2015 Race Report
Thank you runners, helpers, marshals and Wobblers. With the much appreciated sponsorship from Peak Cables Ltd and Hamilton Pwr Safe we are on target for a sizeable charity donation this year. Big thanks to all you lovely runners who donated extra £’s, even the anonymous car driver who stopped and handed £5 to one or our roadside marshals – wow is all I can say!
The Wingerworth Wobble is a challenging course tackled with style this morning with some impressive running and pb‘s.
These mud/obstacle runs are not a patch on the Wobble – we have real life, charging mammals with horns who fortunately all behaved today.
The winner was Luke Beresford in a winning time of 30.33. Clare Glazebrook was our first female back in a time of 39.03. The annual local trophies were won by Richard Start and Akua Mc Geoch. Unfortunately no course records set today apart from the longest wait for results! We are looking at chip timing for next year and different options!! Many thanks again to all involved – your continued support is much appreciated to help raise funds for our nominated charity this year (Air Ambulance) and Deer Park School PTA.
